Think of it like a manifestation of desire itself. Something visceral to human experience. Hard to grasp or condense to a singular thing, a driving force which propels people to a variety of actions. Desire can be materialist or non-physical. It can be conceptual or highly tangible. But where there is desire, there is inherent value. Technology compiled / compounded with desire reacts in various ways – desires oscillate between tangible and intangible, easier to access however not necessarily easier to fulfill.
